In 2007 Amigos Cantina was created out of a vision shared by Rob Chrust and long time friend Jerry Desmond who sadly passed one year before the restaurant opened. Both sensed the absence of a quality space to meet, eat, and converse with family and friends in Schuylerville. And so, Amigos came to life. In 2016, Dylan Chrust took on the role of head chef, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to our kitchen. Our food is best described as Mexican cuisine packed with strong, vibrant flavors with southwest, Latino, and Caribbean influences. In 2017, as the restaurant continued its growth, the opportunity to expand into the adjoining historical former bank building on the corner of Broad and Ferry St. presented itself, almost doubling our size.
