About Us

Mostly Modern Projects' mission is to bring fresh, new and engaging classical music to everyone. MMP encompasses performances, education, outreach and recordings, serving Saratoga County, NYC and beyond. Mostly Modern Projects was founded in 2005 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Mostly Modern Festival USA was founded in 2018 in Saratoga Springs, New York, on the campus of Skidmore College at the Arthur Zankel Music Center. Quickly becoming the “Aspen of the East”, MMF hosts an educational experience for 150 instrumentalists, composers, and conductors. Each June, faculty, students and audiences travel to Saratoga Springs for this unique Mostly Modern experience. During the rest of the year, MMP provides vital outreach music programs to hospitals, senior centers, children's programs, and community concerts. MMF’s international reputation launched in 2021 with MMF The Netherlands, and there is now a yearly music festival in historic Holland, in Middelburg, Zeeland every summer.
