Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 annually

As our Human Resources Manager, you’ll lead a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, employee development, policy creation, and compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, ensuring HR practices align with company goals and legal requirements. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you’ll also help identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to state and federal employment laws related to compensation, benefits, and status.
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, billing, and carrier coordination.
- Manage unemployment insurance claims and hearings.
- Coordinate reporting for HR metrics and KPIs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees on HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Support managers with performance management and employee development.
- Conduct investigations and review disciplinary documentation as needed.
- Assist with annual HR initiatives such as open enrollment and employee engagement programs.
- Oversee injury and illness reporting, modified duty programs, and workers’ compensation processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business (required)
- 7–10 years of HR experience
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Strong HR generalist background
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Use and maintenance of company-issued laptop and cell phone
- Must notify supervisor directly when calling in sick (voicemail/email not accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance
