Home of the Official National Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame, which in 2020 underwent a major renovation and now includes a state-of-the-art multi-screen theater featuring an immersive 360° film and interactive panels. A special gallery just for kids, with interactive hands-on exhibits. This is a world-class destination that not only meets but exceeds the bar set by other national institutions dedicated to thoroughbred racing. A tour through the Museum sets you on an incredible journey through the sport’s history, from colonial times through present day. Surrounded by incredible works of fine art, opulent trophies and historical artifacts, visitors experience all aspects of this thrilling sport, from its most iconic moments and pageantry to what happens behind-the-scenes during a day at the races. The experience culminates with the brand-new Hall of Fame Education Experience, a state-of-the-art cinematic experience that invites audiences to feel the exhilaration of thoroughbred racing and reveals “what it takes” to be among the greatest of the greats.
