Children's educational program, come make ice cream!
Children will have the opportunity to travel back in time to the 1890s and learn about a timeless sweet treat- Ice Cream! Brookside Museum will host an Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, April 16 between 10am and 12pm and again between 1 pm and 3 pm. Hosted by Sue McLane, the Victorian Lady, participants will make ice cream in an old fashioned crank ice cream maker. Music, crafts and games will also be included. This program is appropriate for ages 6-14. Adults are welcome to attend with children, but are asked to pay the program fee. $12 per person, $10 for SCHS members.
