The Nuts & Bolt of the Nonprofit Revitalization Act - What it Really Means
The Nonprofit Revitalization Act is a landmark change in the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law of the State of New York that will usher in a modern era for the operation and governance of nonprofit corporations starting on July 1, 2014. Our friends at the New York Council of Nonprofits, Inc. (NYCON) have reviewed the legislation and are ready to give you insight on key changes to existing law and what they will mean, from a practical perspective, for your nonprofit. Join them as they cover the ‘nuts and bolts’ of how to get started with compliance including doing things like updating your bylaws, address board governance issues, updating other corporate documents and more.
