Pet Care Assistant and Activities Coordinator or Doggie Daycare Assistant

Milton Manor Pet Resort is looking to add either part time or full time employees to our team.

Must love all animals!! You will be on your feet for the entire shift. Do not expect to be sitting for any significant length of time.

Job responsibilities for pet assistant and activity coordinator include caring for the pets in our care (feeding, rotating for potty breaks, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning), activities such as playtime, hiking, story time, cuddle time. Other duties will include washing dishes, laundry, mopping, even weeding the garden areas and lots more cleaning.

Dog daycare assistant must have experience in a dog daycare environment and understanding of dog behavior. This position can be both mentally draining and physically as you will be on your feet for each shift (there is no sitting on this job). This can be part time or full time. Monday to Friday. Hours would be either 7am-12pm & 2pm-4pm or 9am-12pm & 2pm-6pm.

We are looking for an applicant that is punctual, able to take a 2 hour break in the middle of the day, works well on your own after being trained and with others.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays for the pet assistant and activities coordinator positions. If you need weekends off or go away during holiday periods, this is not the job to apply for.

Please note that we work on a split schedule. You must be able to work both morning and afternoon shifts in a single day that generally has a 2-3 hour break between shifts. If you live more than 20 minutes away, this may be too time consuming, have high fuel costs to compute back and forth twice a day and may not be the job to apply for.

Great stating pay and benefits!! This is not a temporary position. We are looking for someone year-round.
