Posted: 03/03/2024

Do you have two years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities? Do you have a bachelor’s degree in a human service field? If you are familiar with regulations from the Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), The Department of Health (DOH), and Justice Center regulations, the Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) may be the next step in your career.

In this role you will get to visit worksites and provide feedback to the team, helping them prepare for surveys. You will work with survey teams to provide them with the information they request such as AMAP certificates or Incident Review meeting minutes.

Working with the QA Director, you will conduct investigations, discover what happened, and be part of a process to help staff gain the skills to do their job well and applaud them when they are successful in their role. You will also have the opportunity to provide staff with support in how to handle situations when serving as administrator on call.

There is also paperwork and online databases that this person maintains for various areas of Quality Assurance work. This is a great position to learn about regulations, OPWDD, and the Justice Center. It’s also a good knowledge base to have for future career growth.

Saratoga Bridges offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, vacation, sick and holiday pay.  The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
