Assistant Residence Manager - Career Growth

Have you been working as a DSP for over a year? Are you working 36 hours straight? Not here. Do you like to train new employees, so they know how to do things the right way? Are you flexible and willing to pick up extra shifts? You might be ready to take the next step on the career ladder with us!

This position gives you the best of both worlds as you learn new skills as a supervisor and spend time with people living in our group homes. Plus, you assist co-workers in learning the skills to become great DSP's.

Our ARM's make great things happen by talking with the people we support and making plans to go places. These trips can be as big as going to the Bronx Zoo, to apple picking, or visiting the pumpkin patch this time of year. People want to see live music or go to the movies. A cup of coffee while sitting at Stewarts with a staff member and some of their housemates may be the start of a great day.

The starting payrate for this position is $19.10 to $22.00 per hour. 

To be qualified for this position, you will need a driver's license, diploma/GED, and 1 year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, OPWDD services preferred.
