About Us
Soroptimists are business and professional women who are dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls locally and throughout the world. Seventy members strong, the organization provides a supportive environment or motivated women to thrive and network. Surrounded by the international support of clubs in 120 countries, Soroptimists work together to bring out the best in women. Locally the club’s signature program is Project Hope and Power, an eight-week educational workshop presented in partnership with Wellspring to guide victims of domestic violence towards financial independence. The club also grants thousands of dollars to local and global initiatives and to assist women who are heads of household continuing their education in the face of adversity, Soroptimists also support the work of women who have inspired, encouraged and improve the lives of other. Soroptimist International of Saratoga County is a 501(c)3 all volunteer organization.
